it is not my design, I only created the rendering. This is for another architect who didn’t have the ability / staff to do the renderings..

A Jeepster?

This is going to be someone’s house?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:09 |

Pretty sure I’ve seen this house in one of them horror films
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:12 |

Wow, that’s a lot going on for a single building.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:13 |

That’s... ummmm...busy.
My mother always said that if I can’t say anything nice I should just shut the fuck up. But it’s still a work in progress...
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:14 |

its actually the final design. it is busy

Cool house, needs more garage
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:15 |

![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:22 |

Ok? So why a 1 car garage?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:23 |
|
Wow. And you guys thought the stuff that I posted was gaudy.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:23 |
|
Wait. Six balconies and a porch? Is he building a small apartment complex?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:25 |
|
I recognise that it’s a final design and pity the builder that signs up for it.
I’m the work in progress...
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:25 |

The people aren’t proportional are they? Seems like they’d be awful large.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:29 |

Yikes. This stinks of “theclient is always right”. Nice work rendering it though.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:33 |

holy shit man, the builder is gunna be pulling out his hair building this one. the fucking details, so many details. I was way off on my time estimate.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:33 |

On the other hand, the sales rep for the windows is going to have a few extra steak dinners.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:35 |

that would have been an interesting argument. This will be the architects own house.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:36 |

he actually has it so it can be divided into 3 different floors with a central stair. Each floor will be private from one another and could be rented through Air BnB rented separately or as one
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:37 |
|
Oh...
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:38 |

I guess he’s looking for a little rental income to supplement his retirement. I’m not cut out for that gig.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:44 |

My resolve to avoid comment was steadfast until about right here. This gives new meaning to architecturally prominent!
OPPOsaurus. can you provide a rough square footage for the entire 3 apartment building?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:53 |

Very nice job on the rendering.
Is this going to be a beach house? Beach houses always seem to have a lot going on, but even this is pushing the envelope. Best of luck to the builder!

Wow, its like Graham Gund and Robert Venturi got really drunk at a party and decided to get together to see what happens.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:23 |

That’s some impressive sketchup?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:29 |

Looks like Lego
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:33 |

sketchup with a little photoshoppin on top
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:34 |
|
yea i hope he gets a good builder. it will be near the beach
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:57 |

How does that top level work? I mean to get up there. I don’t see where the door is to the stairs?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 22:46 |
|
inside there is a spiral stair that leads to a hatch in the ceiling.
![]() 04/11/2018 at 01:15 |

Being an architect doesn’t necessarily mean one has taste.
![]() 04/11/2018 at 14:56 |

A few personal changes I’d make, but I, uh, freakin’ love it. But needs more garage space, and obviously to me needs to be in a beach town.
